Walks, learning and events by Horizontes

This small country has a natural beauty not yet discovered, and the pioneers of the trail can find all kinds of rewarding experiences as they pass through small rural towns, mountains and bridges, taking with them the most real and authentic side of Costa Rica.

The trip begins on the Atlantic coast, passing through the Canales de Barra de Parismina where abundant nature and wildlife are part of the landscape. After a few kilometers, you will say goodbye to the sea and continuo on mountain roads that lead to the Pacific Ocean, arriving to Londres, a small coastal town located half hour from the famous Manuel Antonio National Park.

280 kilometers of trails, ballast roads, mountains, rivers and jungle are what El Camino de Costa Rica offers, completing a personal challenge crossing this beautiful country from coast to coast in about 15 days.

The trail has also been divided into 5 routes of among 20 and 24 kilometers in two-day walks, which can be done separately to challenge distinct levels of physical, mental and spiritual intensity.

Like those who are currently transiting this path, the experts at Horizontes are pioneers of this adventure and they have the best tour guides to walk it.
