The Mexican Pacific and Caribbean Coasts, a Spectacle you cannot miss!

Mexico is one of the few countries on the globe that are endowed with two coastlines. The country is bordered by the Caribbean Sea to the East and Pacific Ocean to the West.

These two water bodies make the country a preferred vacation destination. Its coasts are conducive for water sports such as surfing, snorkeling, wind surfing, waterboarding, boat rides, yacht sailing, scuba diving and fishing. This also means that it two coasts can host any number of tourists on its pristine sandy beaches and that guests can enjoy all manner of beach games such as beach volleyball and football.

As if on cue, the Mexican resorts are mainly divided into two major categories. There are those that offer 'adults-only' services and beaches and then there are those that offer family friendly services and beach activities.

Among the most popular resorts on the Mexican Pacific Coast include; Dreams Villa Magna, Riu Palace Pacifico, Canto del Sol, San Agustinillo in Oaxaca, Secrets Vallarta Bay, and Riu Vallarta among others.

Among the most popular Mexican Caribbean Coast resorts include; Playa del Carmen, Sun Palace Cancun, Secrets The Vine Cancun, Grand Palladium Riviera White Sand Resort & Spa, Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach Hotel & Spa, Grand Riviera Princess and many more.

If you want to soak in the sun, have a nice beach experience, haunt the best nightspots, then the east coast (Caribbean Coast) will be a better bet. The Caribbean Sea is known for its tranquil, turquoise crystal clear waters that are suitable for a quite beach experience. On the other hand, the Pacific Coast is best if you are looking to enjoy some water sports. Its waves and winds are also ideal for the sailors.

In the rare event that you will get bored by both coastlines, there is always the interior Mexico where you can enjoy traditional Spanish music and dishes. Actually, the hacienda experience and rum drinking in the sugarcane plantations is not all that bad. You never know, you may even get yourself an old guitar at a bargain from the hinterland merchants.
