Three hundred four (304) beautifully appointed mountain view rooms offer two telephones, free high speed internet access, data ports, voice mail, heated towel racks, robes, slippers, in-room safes, hair dryers, lighted make-up mirrors, mini-refrigerators, coffee makers and complimentary Starbucks coffee, and color cable televisions with feature movies.


Winter and summer amenities within the Hotel Alyeska include: a 60 person aerial tram; a spa that offers a variety of massage therapy, facial treatments, manicures and pedicures, eye and lip treatments, body therapies, and the latest in Vichy massage Therapy; bicycle rental program; and a complete fitness center with an indoor salt water pool heated to 85ºF, weight room with cardio and strength training equipment, a dry sauna heated to approximately 130ºF, and a 16-person saltwater 103ºF whirlpool.

Summer activities available around the Hotel Alyeska include glacier hiking, gold panning, fishing, bicycling, sea kayaking, canoeing, river rafting, paragliding, dog sledding, flight seeing, taking a train to Denali National Park, and glacier and wildlife cruises in Kenai Fjords National Park or Prince William Sound. Winter activities available around the Hotel Alyeska area include alpine and cross country skiing with ski-in/ski-out hotel access, snowshoeing, ice skating, flight seeing, ocean wildlife tours, sleigh rides, snow mobile tours, dog sledding, heli-skiing and back country skiing with Chugach Powder Guides, ice climbing, and glacier and wildlife cruises. Resort restaurants include the Seven Glaciers restaurant and lounge located 2,300 feet above the valley, Alaska’s only mountain-top AAA Four Diamond restaurant; the Sakura & Sushi Bar; the Pond Café serving breakfast; the Tramway Café serving homemade pastries and coffee espresso; the Aurora Bar and Grill, and the Sitzmark (venue schedules are available upon request).
